Music · Original writing
A playlist can be more than a stack of favourites. One track leaves you in a particular mood; the next either meets that mood or changes it. The turn between them can become part of the experience.
Try choosing five pieces around an ordinary moment: a walk home, clearing a table, or the hour before a visitor arrives. Decide what you want the beginning to feel like and where the final track should leave you.
Listen to the transitions. You may want a sudden change, a gentle handover, or a pause. A track you love on its own may not belong in this particular sequence, and that does not make it a lesser favourite.
Give the playlist a title that explains its reason. If you share it, write one sentence about the moment you imagined. Leave room for the listener to experience it differently. You are offering a path, not controlling what the music will mean.
