Words & play · Original writing
Choose a colour but keep its name to yourself. Describe something that reminds you of it: a familiar toy, the sky you can see, or a drawing on your wall.
Write three clues without using the colour's name. A clue might mention where the object is or what its surface looks like.
Ask someone you trust to guess. If they choose another colour, compare the pictures you imagined. Your clues may need a different detail, or the same object may look different to each of you.
Try again with a new colour. The game is about describing clearly, not winning quickly.
