Welcome to the Opposite Shop. A long scarf becomes short. A loud bell becomes quiet. A closed door becomes open. What happens to an empty basket?
Write three signs for the shop. Now add one tricky sign: a brave customer becomes… Perhaps the opposite is not as simple as it first looks.
Make a sentence where changing one word changes the action. “The cat came inside” can become “The cat went outside.” Draw the two scenes.

Invent a shopkeeper and write the first thing a customer asks.
