Fold a few sheets of paper together and give your notebook a title. On the first page, write or draw something that makes you curious.
Use three headings: “I noticed,” “I wonder,” and “I could find out.” Not every question needs an answer today. Some can wait on a page.
Ask a grown-up to help you find a library book or another reliable source. If two sources disagree, write that down too. Discovering a new question counts as a beginning.
