Getting Things Done

By David Allen

Allen’s workflow moves from collecting commitments to clarifying them, organising reminders, reviewing the system, and choosing an action. A vague project becomes easier to approach when you decide what doing it would actually look like.

Try it in ordinary life

Replace “sort the room” with “put the books on one shelf.” If more steps remain, keep the larger project on a separate list and review it later.
