Lena found a red envelope beneath an empty chair. There was no name on it. Inside was a drawing of the very room where she stood, but the drawing showed one extra door.
That is the beginning. Now write two endings. In the first, the door is real. In the second, it is part of a game someone has invented.
Keep one detail the same in both endings. You can change the meaning of that detail when the story changes.
